March 2022 Press Release
Italian Motors USA & WORD Racing are pleased to announce a new partnership with the Italkart brand, as the authorized dealership for Italkart in Oregon. 2022 marks Italkart's 27th year of chassis construction and includes a strong record of winning here in the US. We have long admired the quality and innovation of the Italkart chassis, and the 2022 models have taken it to a whole new level!
WORD Racing owner, Randy Word, has fond memories of racing with his son at the Italkart home track and testing center in Sumas, Washington. “My son and I started making the trip to SIMA (Sumas International Motorsport Academy) 10 years ago to race with the Italkart drivers in club races and Gold Cup races. I was especially intrigued by the performance of the Italkart KZ chassis and was thankful for their support of the Shifter class, in addition to the single speed classes. It was a natural fit for our company, and we are excited to represent a local Northwest brand here in Oregon. The excellent support and parts supply is a big plus and it is a pleasure to work with Italkart, Italian Motors and the Valiante family. We are looking forward to a great year in 2022!”
