Word Racing — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.wordracing.com and your purchase of products and services from Word Racing (“Word Racing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order or enter into a service agreement with us. You are responsible for providing accurate information when you order or contact us.
We sell karts, engines, parts, safety gear, and related products, along with the services described below. We work to keep product descriptions, pricing, and availability accurate, but errors can occur, and items may sell out or be discontinued. We reserve the right to correct errors and to change prices, descriptions, and availability at any time without notice. Used and pre-owned items are sold in their described condition without warranty.
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, and we may cancel an order due to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store full payment-card details. You are responsible for any applicable taxes and fees.
We ship parts and gear by standard carriers and larger items such as karts by freight. Shipping and freight charges, timelines, and any deposit requirements will be communicated before your order is finalized. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Unless stated otherwise, returns may require prior authorization, must be in original condition, and certain items (such as special orders, custom builds, and used or clearance items) may be non-returnable. Refunds, when granted, are issued to the original payment method.
We offer services including engine building, chassis setup, installations, coaching, and trackside support. Service timelines are estimates and may vary based on parts availability, technician scheduling, and other factors. Quotes are estimates unless stated as fixed. You are responsible for accurate information about your equipment and for any manufacturer requirements affecting warranty.
Karting and motorsports are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury, death, or property damage. You acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of our products and participation in motorsports. You are responsible for the safe and proper assembly, inspection, maintenance, and operation of any equipment, for using appropriate safety gear, and for complying with the rules of any track, series, or sanctioning body. Word Racing is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of products or services or from participation in motorsports activities.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Word Racing, and you agree to these SMS terms. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

All content on our website — including text, logos, images, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Word Racing and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Manufacturer warranties, where they apply, are provided by the manufacturer and not by Word Racing. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Word Racing and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from the use of our website, products, or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Word Racing and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of our website, products, or services, your participation in motorsports, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clackamas County, Oregon.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
