WORD Racing chosen as West Coast distributor for the new made in USA iKart Indianapolis racing karts!

We are very excited to announce that we are now the West Coast distributor for the new iKart Indianapolis line of racing karts - made here in the USA!

The new iKart Indianapolis chassis has been in development for over two years. Featuring several new innovative features and quality construction. The new chassis is a race winner - winning a couple of large National events back east, against some of the best drivers in the US. American ingenuity and craftsmanship is finally back in the Kart racing world, and WORD Racing is proud to be a part of it.

WORD Racing owner, Randy Word, said, "After 6 years of intense racing, this is an exciting new chapter for WORD Racing. We are proud to introduce a competitive new product to the market, especially one that is made in the USA". For the last 10 years, karting has been dominated by Italian manufacturers, but now the US has a competitive chassis.

We are in the process of redesigning our website to feature the new iKarts and to provide easy access to spare parts. Watch for more information coming soon!

Shark Shifter Motor

We are also excited to announce that one of the new iKarts we will be racing with is a shifter kart. The motor and transmission going in the new iKart shifter was hand-built by Mike at Shark Shifter. Shark Shifter is well known for their expertise in Honda shifter motors.

Zamp Helmet Dealer

We are also pleased to announce that we are now a dealer for the Zamp Helmet line. Zamp Helmets has sponsored our team since 2007, and we have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of their products and their service. The top Zamp helmets are some of the lightest and safest helmets available. We are in the process of redesigning our website and we will post pictures, information, and online shopping buttons soon!

New Logo

As you most likely noticed, in the header at the top of this news release, we have a new logo! Thanks to Randy and Tim, at WORD Web Design, who worked together on the improved branding for our race team.
